Day 9

We said our farewell to the rock and the Olgas and headed to Kings canyon

Mount Conner dominated the landscape as we headed east before turning North

A short stop at Kathleen spring was enjoyed by all

                                            

Before arriving a the Kings Canyon resort, after lunch and setting up camp we did the canyon floor walk and arranged a helo flight for tomorrow.

                              

Went to the BBQ for dinner, listen to a band sing Australian numbers  and who entertained the kids on stage, was a fun eve ing. Up early tomorrow for the canyon rim walk, 500 steps up to start with and my thighs are still aching from climbing the rock!!!
